Feedback.
Feedback plays a very important role in our restaurants, for individual team members
and for the
restaurant as a whole.
We have many ways of implementing this; from reviews and mystery diners for the
restaurant to appraisals and sit downs with our staff. For you, feedback will be a big
part of the next few weeks whilst you are completing your management training to
ensure you understand the areas you have covered, what you need to improve on and
also what you feel needs to be repeated or has not been discussed in enough detail.
The managers in the kitchen will guide you through this process to help you get the
training needed to be a successful manager in our restaurants. If unsure of anything
please ask. It is important for you to feel confident in asking questions to ensure you
understand our philosophy and procedures.
Every week you will be checked on your learning and the understanding of our
procedures, through questioning and you demonstrating practical skills. This is also
an opportunity for you to ask questions, give feedback and enhance your knowledge.
The Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef in your training site will go through your BOH
Management Training Record and give feedback to ensure you are on track with your
knowledge. The Head Chef will complete a weekly training form, to see how you are
progressing.
If you encounter any challenges or have question please contact your Area Chef
