Shift manager.
Managing a shift directly impacts our guests' experience. If a shift is managed well it
will run smoothly and our guests and staff will have a great time.
Failing to run a shift effectively can impact staff morale which can in turn lead to a
negative guest experience.
To ensure a shift is run smoothly you and your team need to be prepared.
For any good business to run smoothly, organisation and standardisation are key.
Along with establishing and maintaining structure and order, an organised business
promotes team spirit which ensures that the restaurant will run efficiently.
Being a great manager is all about presence and confidence. We want you to be seen
and lead the team. Your role is to ensure every guest will leave happy and receives
fantastic food in excellent surroundings.
We expect you to keep the staff motivated, trained, monitored and give constant
feedback. Our managers have to make sure the kitchen is safe and clean.
We have tools that can help you with all of this, and you will learn what they are and
how to use them during your training.

Management
Preparation and communication are key for a successful day but so is your
presence in the kitchen. Great managers are present during the shift,
portray confidence and are visible to the team, hiding in the office is not an
option for us.
